PROBLEM
Buyers needed to make earnest payments in person, usually by check. But this method was outdated, slow, and often inconvenient.
SOLUTION
We built a custom payment portal that accepts debit card and ACH transactions — no credit cards — making it compliant with real estate finance regulations. The system also enables sales reps to instantly text a secure payment link to the buyer’s phone, allowing them to pay from their own device on the spot. All payments are automatically synced with Arbor’s MiTek Kova system for seamless backend processing.
RESULT
Arbor Homes now collects earnest money quickly, securely, and without the need for physical checks, all while improving the buyer experience and reducing administrative overhead.
